Consultation, session, touch-up and piercing
You can create the consultation, the tattoo session, the touch-up and the piercing as separate services, each with its minutes and its price. A three-hour session must not be offered as a thirty-minute slot: you enter 180 minutes and the calendar blocks those three hours for that artist. If the price depends on the size, variants allow several durations and several prices within the same service, or you leave a starting price and settle the amount at the studio. The software does not calculate the price of a design.
Each artist has hours and services. Someone who only does piercing does not appear for a sleeve session if you do not assign them that service. Several artists in the same premises are several columns. There is no couch booking calendar separate from the artist.
Holding deposit and deposit: what exists and what is not active
The centre dashboard allows a deposit: a percentage of the service or a fixed amount. It can be limited to new clients or to weekends. There are also deposit fields on the service itself. That configures the rule. It does not mean the card is charged today when booking.
The payments dashboard text says that, for now, the client books and pays at the centre, and that Stripe Connect is not yet in production. When BeautyCalendar switches that charge on, the button to connect the account will appear there. The code that would make the charge applies a 1 % platform commission on the online payment, in addition to Stripe's commission. Until then, the holding deposit is agreed and collected at the studio, outside the payment gateway.
The centre's cancellation policy stores refund percentages if there was an online payment (more than 24 hours, between 12 and 24, and below 12, with default values of 100 %, 50 % and 0 %). Without an online charge there is no amount to return from Stripe.

The studio website and the record
The studio page shows services and booking, on a BeautyCalendar subdomain or on your domain. The gallery is the place for the portfolio. It does not draw, it does not generate tattoo templates and it does not post on social networks. The client record stores the name, contact details, notes and appointment history: useful for knowing whether that session was a touch-up or a new piece.
Automatic reminders are email and WhatsApp at 24 hours and at 4 hours. On a long session, the morning notice avoids the empty slot. There is no SMS in that send. We do not promise how many missed appointments are avoided.
Hostly can handle the website chat and, when connected, create or move the appointment in the booking calendar. The dashboard states 1.500 replies a month included and packs of 500 at 10 €, including VAT. The receptionist does not close a design and does not negotiate a holding deposit on its own beyond the data the studio holds.
Price for a studio
One studio counts as one centre: 29,90 € a month in Spain and in the EU-27, excluding VAT, whether one artist or several work in that premises. A second premises is another centre on the price table. The trial lasts 14 days with a card; the monthly fee waits until the end of the trial. Setup help, 100 €, is optional and is charged at once if you ask for it.
There is no marketplace commission on the session inside the fee. BeautyCalendar does not list you in a client directory in exchange for a percentage of the first visit. The centre directory on its own website is voluntary and does not intermediate a booking from outside the platform.

Can I charge the holding deposit when the session is booked?
You can store the amount or the percentage in the dashboard. Card payment on the booking is not in production: today it is paid at the studio.
Does the booking calendar work for piercing and for tattooing?
Yes. They are services with their own time and their own price. Each artist has the services you assign.
Does the client need an app?
No. They book in the phone's browser, on the studio's website.
Is there a minimum term?
The account holder with a Stripe subscription can schedule cancellation in the profile. The subscription continues until the end of the current period. There is no penalty charge in the code for that cancellation.
